Raw aluminum
Raw aluminum, also known as stir-fried aluminum in the Chinese industry, is a low-purity aluminum extracted from a naturally refined chemical component, aluminum oxide. Raw aluminum is impure aluminum, and like pig iron, it will break if you hit it hard. Aluminum with a composition below 98% is brittle and hard, and can only be used for sand casting.
Die-cast aluminum
Aluminum suitable for die casting is die-cast aluminum, usually die-cast aluminum alloy. Through the die-casting process, the aluminum alloy is melted and injected into the mold, and then quickly cooled to form an aluminum alloy product.
About Raw aluminum
The difference with wrought aluminum: Common aluminum products are light and thin, this is wrought aluminum. Wrought aluminum is more than 98% aluminum, soft in nature, and can be rolled or stamped into a variety of utensils.
The difference with aluminum alloy: Aluminum alloy is made by smelting pure aluminum with a small amount of magnesium, manganese, copper, and other metals. Its corrosion resistance and hardness are greatly improved. Raw aluminum is one of the raw materials for aluminum alloy production.
The application of raw aluminum: Suitable for high-demand seals, mechanical parts, automotive brake systems, and other fields.
The property: It has high heat resistance and strength.
The production process: It is usually obtained by smelting aluminum ore from mines. Raw aluminum needs to go through smelting, purification, cooling, and other processes, generally using wooden sand molds and gravity casting.
The appearance: The surface is typically granular, with a relatively high surface roughness, and appears to be relatively rough;

Disadvantage: High cost and relatively narrow scope of application.
Production process: Die-casting aluminum uses a metal mold and a die-casting machine for pressure casting, and there is a pressure-maintaining process in the mold. It requires processes such as melting, injection into the mold, and rapid cooling.
